The Grant County Bank Announces New Name
05/19/2026
“This is a thrilling time for all of us as we prepare the transition to the Highlands Bank brand,” shared George Ford, President and CEO. “Our employees have known about the announcement since late last year, and we wanted to formally announce our new name ahead of the branding update, which will modify the look and feel. We think you’ll like what you see!”
This change reflects an update to the bank’s branding only. There will be no changes to ownership, customer accounts, services, or day-to-day banking operations.
The Grant County Bank encourages the community to keep an eye on its website and social media channels, as well as on the billboards in Keyser, Moorefield, and Petersburg, for more details in the coming weeks. The community is invited to join in the rebranding celebrations at any of our banking locations on July 1 - more details to follow.
